He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Benner and Helen E. Benner (Bowman); and his brother R. James Benner. He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Benner (Lehman); and his sons, David T. Benner (Kurt VanGilder), Michael S. Benner and Jeffrey K. Benner Benner (Tara).
