With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan M. Carlson of Cornwall, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Shollenberger and Janet E. Kershaw Shollenberger; and her brother Steve Shollenberger. She is survived by: her husband Dana Carlson; her daughters, Lisa (Christopher Moore) of Manheim and Lori Shanko of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Thomas, Emma, Jane Moore and Astrid Shanko; her half-brother Ed Shollenberger of Wrightsville; her stepbrothers, Bruce Bender of Long Island, NY and Ken Bender of Arvada, CO; and her stepdaughters, Holly (Kevin Barcroft) of Dunbarton, NH and Lindsay Heald of Riverview, FL.
In lieu of flowers, Susan, requested donations may be made to Johns Hopkins University, Sol Goldman Center, for pancreatic cancer research, 600 N. Wolfe Street, Carnegie 417, Baltimore, MD 21287 or Central PA Food Bank, 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
