She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alfred Brandt, Sr., Adam Brandt and Sarah Brandt McKay. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Emerson Slayton; her children, Paul (Nancy) and Sarah (Joseph Fontana); her grandsons, Alexander Slayton, Brandt Slayton and Jack Fontana; and her sister Elizabeth B. Myer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornwall Manor Endowment Fund for Benevolent Care, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016.
