He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Peffley and Susanna Brandt Peffley; and his siblings, Stanton, Harvey, Paul, Grant, Lillian Soulliard, Elsie Soulliard and Esther Salem.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elizabeth Kleiser; and his children, LeRoy "Chip" Peffley of Lebanon and Nannette Susan (Richard Denlinger).
