He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Shirato (Reckus); his children, Christine Evans (Michael), Karen Arndt (Raymond), Carolyn Reb (Thomas) and James M. Shirato (Sara); his brother Thomas J. Shirato; and his grandchildren, Shane, Kyle, Natalie, Michael, Jeremy, Dylan and Matthew.
