He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Sr. Zimmerman and Marjorie M. Mader Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Susan C. Smith Zimmerman; his daughters, Julianne (Rick Forzese), Jolynne (Steven Shannon) of Lebanon and Janelle (Aaron Johnson); and his siblings, Joseph E. Zimmerman, Jr. (Carolyn Zimmerman), Kay Bowman, Karen Heffner and Michael Zimmerman (Laura Pasternak). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren.
