He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothea Jeanette Arnold (Arnick); his son Jeffrey David Arnold; his parents, Elijah Herman Arnold, Sr. and Cora Ellen Arnold (Spitler); and his siblings, Richard, Jerome and Mildred Wenger (David).
He is survived by: his children, Elijah Joseph Arnold, III (Ruth Ann), Elizabeth Ann Wolfe (Raymond) and Karen Marie Tice (Joseph); and his siblings, Paul, Charles, John, Francis, David, Christopher, James, Barbara Kreider (Raymond), Joan King (Ronald) and Agnes Shearer (Robert).
