He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia S. Petry (Simenec); his parents, Franklin Petry and Helen Petry (Perini); and his grandson Austin Harris. He is survived by: his children, Charles Petry and Patricia Harris (Terry); his grandchildren, Emily Harris, Laura Schoffstall (Richard) and Matthew Harris; and his sister Bernadine Reppert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
