She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Deck; her parents, Jerry Swope and Lillie Swope (Grimes); and her siblings, Florence Gerhart and Gene Swope.

She is survived by: her daughter Jane L. (Patrick S. Blaser) of Hershey; her grandchildren, Jessica Somers of Lenexa, KS and Zach Blaser of Allentown; and her sisters, Anna M. Swope of Hershey, Nancy (John Rhen) of Jonestown and Frances Lutz of Hershey. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
