It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa I. Retkowski of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Theresa's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Theresa's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Retkowski and Agnes Retkowski (Trezciak); and her siblings, Josephine Kusczyk, Frank Retkowski, Gertrude Sitzman, Frances Kessel and Chester Zygowski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (225 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201).
