It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Jackson of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Glendora Rainey Jackson; and his siblings, William Jackson, James Jackson, Douglas Jackson, Rayette Jackson, Gloria Johnson and Glenda Napper.
He is survived by: his wife Selma Johnson-Jackson; his children, Phillip Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Jr. and Stephanie Herriott; his grandchildren, Troy Jackson, Carley Jackson, Stephen Jackson and Miracle Jackson; his stepgrandchild Bre Crowley; his great grandchildren, Caiden Smith, Alexander Dorsey and Renesmae Dorsey; and his friend Amelia Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Steven Anglican Church, 405 Frederick Ave. Sewickley, PA, 15143, in Stephen R. Jackson's name.
