He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Sr. Hermansen and Lois Hermansen (Gallagher); and his sister Lynne Aiello. He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Hermansen; and his siblings, Cheryl Kavalir (Russell), Phillip Hermansen, Jr. and Rod Hermansen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
