He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alma; and his children, Linda Groznik (Richard), Sally Hartwick (late Raymond), Rozanne Donovan (Dan), Shirley Bennaugh (Richard), Frances "Penny" Gettemy and Joseph. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to St. Malachy Church.
