He was predeceased by: his parent Andrew Span; and his brother Robert Span. He is survived by: his parent Mary Span (Pinkovsky); his wife Margaret M. Span (Sudia); and his children, Sandra McCormick, Andy, Judy Shaffer (Jeff), Robinson, Linda Norman (Robert), Jim, Mary Phoenik of Mars, Christine Ree (Robert), Moon and Teri Vidovich (Scott).
