The memory of Marlene M. Hess of Coplay, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert P. Dougherty and Catherine Dougherty (Kacsur); her husband William J. Hess; and her daughter Karen Ann. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen M. Hess (Susan) and Daniel J. Hess (Sharon); her sister Diane Besz (Stephen); her grandchildren, Amanda Hess, Stephen Jr. Hess (Jessica), Bryan Hess, Gelsey Hess-Nickerson (Justin) and Arrialle Hess; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Olivia and Barrett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (3024 S Ruch St, Whitehall, PA 18052). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the church.
