He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Baker and Mildred Baker (Dailey); his daughter-in-law Vivian Schwimmer; and his siblings-in-law, James Rodebaugh, Herman Peterson, Ralph Peterson, Evelyn Haney and Estella Matthews.
He is survived by: his former wife Gladys Bell; his wife Esther Peterson of Cooperstown; his children, Jim Schwimmer of Franklin and Vicki Myers (Bob) of Franklin; his sister Barbara Rodebaugh of Copperhill, TN; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Peterson (Shirley) of Franklin, Edward Peterson (Faye) of Franklin and Robert Peterson (Sandy) of Franklin. He is also survived by his three granddaughters and one grandson; his several great-grandchildren.
