She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Q. Boughner and Edna Mae Boughner (Couch); her husband Howard M. Potter; and her brothers, Eugene C. Boughner and Robert E. Boughner.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Jeffrey W. Potter (Cheryl) of Franklin and Jacquline Sue Laing of Franklin; her stepgrandchildren, Jeremy W. Potter, Joel S. Potter (Jennifer), Josie Lynne Burk (William), Gretchen C. Artz (Timothy) and Kelly M. Roberts (Richard); and her brothers, Gerald Bougher (Ruth Anne) of Cooperstown, Wesley P. Boughner (Janet) of Cooperstown, Richard Boughner (Betty) of Cooperstown and Byron Boughner (Cynthia) of Cooperstown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
