Caplinger (Maurer), Jessica M. Maurer, Wendy A. Strohl (Geoffrey W. Strohl) and Valarie A. Horvath (Brandt); his former wife Joyce A. Maurer (Daniels); his grandchildren, Daniel, Devon, Derek, Zachary, Alexis (Adam), Aidan and Mason; his great grandchildren, Lily, Zaylee and Paisley; and his brother Jeffrey Maurer (Christie Maurer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
