In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father John Edward Capan Sr.; his son Michael Allen Capan; and his brother Dave Capan. He is survived by: his mother Sophie Capan (Markusic) of Hopwood; his children, John Edward Capan III (April) of Hopwood and Victoria Capan (Mark) of Hopwood; his grandchildren, Tyson Capan of Connellsville, Audrey Swartz of Hopwood and Adalyn Downs of Hopwood; his former wife Sheryl; and his brothers, William "Bill" Capan of Lemont Furnace and Robert "Bob" Capan (Debbie) of Hopwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445).
