Burkett of Coolspring, Pennsylvania, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary A. Burkett (Skarbek) and Dale L. Burkett; and his brother Richard Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Burkett (Kauffman); his sons, Richard Burkett (Amber) of Punxsutawney and Billy Burkett (Eryn) of Punxsutawney; his grandchildren, Rylan, Cam, Noah, Tucker and Skyla; and his siblings, Lorraine Olano (Louis) of New Jersey, Janet Istanich (Gene) of Johnstown, Dale Burkett, Jr. (Vicky) of Coolspring and Greg Burkett (Marcia) of Coolspring. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Ed, to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
