He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Oakum. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Oakum (Fisher); his sons, Daniel Peter, Jr. of Conyngham, Joseph Zygmunt of Conyngham, James Theodore of Conyngham and Matthew George of Conyngham; and his siblings, Joseph Davidow of Ringtown and Kathryn Oakum of Shenandoah.
