She was predeceased by: her parents, Izydor Misiewicz and Cecilia Misiewicz (Kowalski); her husband Jerome J. Szwedkowski; and her siblings, Josephine Zygmont, Helen Harrison and Stanley Poniatowicz.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Mihm (Mark) of Ridley Park and Jerome Swedkowski (Dorothy) of West Norriton; and her grandson David Swedkowski.
