She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley R. Turtle. She is survived by: her children, Christel Skamla (David), Monika Turtle and Stan Turtle (Victoria); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Gabriel, Lisa and Meghan; and her sisters, Ursula Ruland, Monika Klein and Christel Weinzen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Katharina's memory to St. Jude's.
