He was predeceased by: his wife Marie A. Golas (DeVitis); his siblings, Joanne and Joseph (Louise); and his brother-in-law James. He is survived by: his children, Edward (Kathleen) of Swainton, NJ, Deborah Golas of Conshohocken and Donna Golas of Conshohocken; his granddaughter Kathryn McCormick (William); his great grandchildren, Michael and Mia Rose; his brothers, John (Dorothy) of Conshohocken and Steve (Cindi) of Liberty, PA; and his sister-in-law Betty DeVitis of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
