He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed, Sr. and Hilda Bageant Shearer; his wife Lucille M. Shearer; his daughter Sharon L. Harsh; and his brother Robert Shearer.
He is survived by: his son William R. Shearer, III (Susan) of Jacksonville, NC; his granddaughters, Christine Marie Shearer and Katie Elizabeth Baptiste; his great grandchildren, Dominic Reed Shearer, Trey Baptiste, Kaine Baptiste and Sharon Baptiste; and his sister Norma Richter of Connellsville.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Connellsville (111 E Green St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
