It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas R. Staszel of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Staszel and Genevieve Staszel (Smith); and his siblings, James "Ossie" Staszel, John "Jack" Staszel, Kenneth Staszel, Mary Miller, Virginia "Lucy" Nicholson and Genevieve "Gennie" Schiffer.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne (Soltis); his daughters, Holly Berecz (Steve) of Littleton, Mass. and Noelle Vilella (Brian) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Breckin Vilella, Lukasz and Margaux Berecz; his niece Mary Ann Orlando (Mark); his great-nephew Justin Hamborsky (Savannah); and his siblings, Paul Staszel of Connellsville, Donald Staszel (Emma) of Scottdale, Ronald Staszel (Mary Jo) of Hickory, Bernadette Rauco of Camp Hill and Ruth Heefner (Ray) of Harrisburg.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Connellsville (111 E Green St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Aloysius R. C. Church (459 Ranch Rd, Dunbar, PA 15431).
