He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore F. Koval and Susan Koval (Kostelnik); and his brother Bernie Koval. He is survived by: his wife Retha Koval (Tishue) of Connellsville; his children, Nancy Fearon (Greg) of Boca Raton, FL, Jeannie Marochak (Denny) of Clarkesville, GA, Susan Bennett (Chris) and John Koval (Della Beatty) of Crucible, PA; his grandchildren, Brianne, Patrick (Jennifer), Shane and Cameron; his great grandchild Connor; his brother Ray Koval (Trish) of Murrysville; and his sister-in-law Loretta Koval of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in his memory to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville.
