It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel June (Flynn) Hertznell of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Marshall W. Flynn, Sr.; her daughter Bobbi Jo Higgins; and her brothers, Marshall, Woodie, Ronald "Milo" Flynn, Danny Flynn, Richard "Bones" Flynn and James "Mike" Flynn (Crystal) of Connellsville.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Betty Jane Strothers Flynn; her husband John R. Hertznell; her children, Jennifer Higgins (Vinny), Ryan Higgins (Melissa), Krista Hall (Luke) and Zachary O'Nell; her grandchildren, Andrew, Avery, Avalla, Scarlett, Cameron, Caralyn and Rowyn; and her siblings, Patricia Schaum of New Martinsville, WV, Daisy Huffine (Ronald) of Leisenring, PA, Ray "PeeWee" Williams, Jr. of Morgantown, WV, David Flynn (Maribel) of Japan, Robert "Bobby" Flynn (Debbie) of Connellsville and Timothy Flynn of Scottdale, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
