She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Alice Strader and Clyde William Edwards; her husband Arthur Vernon Washington; her mother-in-law Emma Reynolds; and her son Ron Washington.

She is survived by: her sister Betty Hardy of Murraysville; and her children, Kenneth (Beatrice) of Connellsville, Dennis (Karen) of Pittsburgh, Verona Griffin (David) of Monroeville, Patricia Cherry (Walter) of Washington, PA and Pamela Washington of Frisco, TX..
