He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Bowser and Theodoshia "Doshia" Frantz Bowser; his fiancée Marjorie Kalp (Meriel R. Bigam); his former wife Kathryn Leonard Van Nosdeln; his in-law Edyth Bigam; and his sisters-in-law, Edith Bowser, Birdie Bowser and Louise Edwards (Wayne).
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Hensel Hughes, Selena Bowser Tressler and Laverne Bowser Hager (Mark); his grandchildren, Laurie Hughes Cameron (Rob), Leah Hughes Stutzman (Marty), Jimmy Hughes (Amanda), Zachary Tressler (Becky), Jonathan Hager (Kaitlyn) and Patrick Hager (Emily); his great grandchildren, Emma Driscoll, Zoey Hughes, Elijah Stutzman, Lainey Stutzman, Hunter Hughes, Brody Cameron, Luke Cameron, Everett Tressler and Wilder Tressler; and his brother Duane Bowser (Carol Lee). He is also survived by nephews and niece.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Indian Creek Baptist Church (311 Baptist Church Rd, Mill Run, PA 15464).
