It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darleen Colatch-McDonald of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Darleen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darleen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Kessler and Hattie Rhae Kessler (Helms); and her siblings, Patricia Crawford and James E Kessler (Pete). She is survived by: her children, Michaelene Shreck (Robert) of White, Robin Niderstros (Eric) of Donegal Township and John Patrick Colatch (Connie) of Milton, PA; and her grandchildren, Deanne Jubec (Dave) of Mt. Pleasant, Ben Shreck of Masontown, Carly Hill (Jordan) of Leeds, England and Zach Colatch (Katie) of Northfield. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. (418 Pittsburgh St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
