He was predeceased by: his son Tiler Guth; and his grandparents, Donald E. Saunders and Mary Rhoades. He is survived by: his parents, Steven W. Bender and Denise Ritenour Castrodad; his stepfather Randy Castrodad; his grandparents, Mary Ritenour (Judith) of Connellsville and Harry Ritenour (Lynne) of Dunbar; his son Jaden Nicholson (Melissa Guth Nicholson); his granddaughter Aubrey Guth; his sister Ashley Nicholson of Connellsville; his half-siblings, Allison Bender and Shane Bender; his stepsiblings, Samantha Osler of Connellsville, Mackenzie Castrodad, Jeremy Castrodad of Connellsville and Seth Castrodad; his uncle Scott Ritenour (Helen) of Connellsville; and his niece Makayla Burkholder of Connellsville. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. (418 Pittsburgh St, Connellsville, PA 15425). The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
