He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Vamos and Annette Viktorski Vamos; his wife Virginia Ann Robinson; and his sisters, Irene Majewski and Eleanor Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Tripp of Conneaut Lake, Karen Simmons (Brian) of Meadville, Kristine Smith (Kent) of Conneautville, Ken Vamos (Perla) of Strasburg, Colorado and Kevin Vamos (Beth) of Obrien, Florida; his grandchildren, Valerie Tripp-Mankame, Shannon Balloun, Stephanie Sherman and Sarah Warren; and his great grandchildren, Sam, Grace, Avi, Cora, Zella and Noelle.
