He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ransom and Alice Ransom (Rick); his siblings, Robert, Harry, Myron, Norman, Harriett Davis and Barbara Blood; and his former wife Linda Kay Ransom.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Douglas "Doug", Jr., Travis (Lisa) and Heather (Kevin Maynard); his grandchildren, Brody, Logan, Hunter, Hannah, Kayleigh Ransom, Emilee and Wyatt Maynard; and his siblings, Gary (Linda), John (Bonnie), Wayne (Betty), Carrie Foltz (Mike) and Marilyn Teudhope. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
