She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Atkins and Pearl Atkins (Asbury); her husband Douglas R. Tawney, Sr.; her son Douglas Ray "Dougie" Tawney, Jr.; and her son-in-law David Ross.
She is survived by : her children, Joel Tawney (Marci) of Walkertown, NC, Kim Tawney (Amy Leach) of Findlay, OH and Angie Tawney of Meadville; her grandchildren, Jessica, Dustin (Miranda), Joseph Tawney, Jordyn Chaverri (Tim), Rebecca, Nicholas Quinet, Dalton and Bella Ross; her great grandchild Brayden Tawney; and her sisters, Betty Newman of Belle, WV and Patricia Moore of Wheeling, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
