He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Robert Grinnell Jr. (Tanya), Michael Grinnell of Conneaut Lake, PA and Heather Blair (Chad) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Amber Grinnell-Smith (Zach) of Pittsburgh, PA, Lena Crystal Grinnell of Pittsburgh, PA, Marah Barker (David) of Indianapolis, IN, Chase Grinnell (Destiny) of Anchorage, AK, Tamra Grinnell of Meadville, PA, Jessica Grinnell and Olivia Blair of Pittsburgh, PA; and his great grandchildren, Stellan, Zade, Jaxon and Brooklynn.
