He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Newell (Noah); his children, Molly Fenton (Ed Zinz) of Saegertown, Bridget Fenton of Pittsburgh, Joseph Newell of Meadville, William Newell of Conneaut Lake and Daniel Newell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his siblings, Mary DePalma (Alphonse) of Boston, Bridget Newell (Greg Foliano) of Columbus, John Newell (Leila Khalil) of Pittsburgh, Thomas Newell (Susan) of Alexandria, Virginia, Michael Newell (Maureen) of Pittsburgh and Jean Lorence (Mark) of Boston, Massachusetts; and his granddaughters, Olive and Eleanor Zinz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
