We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2021, at the age of 76, Leon Sopher of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, born in Titusville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Arthur Sr. and Charlotte Ruth Sopher (Crissman); his sisters, Margaret Wishnok and Rita Dawn; and his brother-in-law Tom Whitman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Zimmer; his children, Patty Crooks (Jim) of Berlin Center, OH, Sue King (Tony Brown) of Monroe, NC, Tammy Muckinhaupt Henry (Donna Spellman), JoAnne Muckinhaupt Gibson (Skye), Doug Sopher (Beckey) of Riddlesburg, PA, Christopher Sanders (April) of Waynsboro and Robert B. Muckinhaupt (Theresa) of Conneaut Lake, PA; and his siblings, Trudy Whieman of Cambridge Springs, PA, Kathy Brunner (Larry) of Guys Mills, PA, James Sopher (Marlene) of Meadville, PA, Patrick Sopher (Linda) of North Huntington, PA and Philip Sopher of Strattenville, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
