He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hans and Anna "Sweetie" Hans (Hetrick); his aunt Beverly; his uncle Bob Smyers; and his father-in-law John.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his sons, John C. Hans (Kate) of Conneaut Lake, PA and Jeffrey K. Hans (Nicole) of Conneaut Lake, PA; his grandchildren, Grace, Ella, Luke, Laney and Jake; his sister Judy Jobe (Lynn) of Saegertown, PA; his nieces and nephews, Michael Jobe and Michele Little; his brother Scott Hans (Becky) of Evans City, PA; his nieces and nephews, Cori O'Laughlin and Erica Hans; his sister-in-law Mary Young (James); and his nieces, Lisa Dixon and Lori Huber. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Cheryl Free and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
