It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Calvert Sr. of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Calvert Sr. and Evelyn Calvert (Calvin); his wife Rosemary Winiecke; his brothers, Bernard Calvert Jr. and Charles Calvert Sr.; his sister-in-law Ruth Calvert; and his pet Spanky.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Calvert Jr. (Jennifer Calvert) of Harmonsburg, PA and Kandice Zorn (Rusty Smith); his grandchildren, Nicole Calvert (Evan Sanzari) of Meadville, PA, Karissa Zorn, Devin Slagle of Chicago, IL, Zachary Calvert (Kaylie) of Meadville, PA, Angela Kucharski (Nick) and Kaitlyn Calvert of Harmonsburg, PA; his great grandchildren, Lane Bailey of Meadville, PA and Thea Calvert of Meadville, PA; and his sister-in-law Shirley Calvert of Hartstown, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
