He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, O. R. Moore and Minnie Rhoades Moore; his wife Nancy Sue Bailey; his family, Jany Allen (Les) of Conneaut Lake, Earl Moore Jr. of Conneaut Lake, Kevin Moore (Lindi) of Midland, Georgia, Alan Moore (Kim) of Pittsburgh and Patrick Moore (Lira Hoxha) of Clifton; and his grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Jeremy, Katie, Madeline and Jack. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
