He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie M. Nichols (Locke) and George E. Jacobs; and his stepparents, Bruce E Nichols Sr. and Barbara E. Jacobs (Garvin). He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Kroko; his sons, Timothy J. Jacobs (Leslie Jacobs) of Lancaster, PA and Daniel E. Jacobs; his granddaughters, Zoe and Alana; and his siblings, Allen C. Jacobs (Joyce) of Atlantic, Bruce E. Nichols Jr. of Meadville, Ginger K. Hobson (Jacobs) of Naples, FL, Diane L. Nichols Walker (Phil) of Meadville, Sharon L. Nichols Krider (John) of Meadville, Rose Nichols of Erie and Julie Nichols Chimiak of Linesville, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
