He is survived by: his wife Catherine Murphy Rakow; his sons, Paul (Sharon) of Germantown, MD, Michael (Michelle) of Monroeville, Dave (Rhonda) of West Chester, PA and Chris (Lisa) of Franklin, PA.; and his grandchildren, Marissa, Kevin, Connor, Delaney, Logan, Caroline and Kathleen. He is also survived by two nephews, a niece, great nieces, and great nephews.
