He is survived by: his wife Karen (Tressler); his children, Luke (Telma) of King George, VA and Vicki Merchant (Dale) of Boyds, MD; his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Alexandria, Stephen, Christian, Sara and Alvaro; his sister Mildred Hobernicht; and his pet Jasper.
