He was predeceased by: his parents, Virden E. Vickers and Ada Frankhouser Vickers; and his brothers, Clarence, George and Earl Vickers.

He is survived by: his wife Edna M. Stekervetz Vickers; his daughter Becky S. Vickers-Gross (Keith D. Gross) of Pequea; and his sister Emma K. Grimm of Quarryville.
