It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Samuel Longenecker of Conestoga, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Stanley R. Longenecker; and his son Chad D. Longenecker. He is survived by: his mother Miriam J. Hackman Longenecker of Lancaster; his wife Lori A. Rankin Longenecker of Conestoga; his siblings, Sherry L. (G. Scott Reynolds) of Lancaster, Donald Paul Longenecker of Perryville, MD and Darry L. Longenecker of Manheim; his mother-in-law Frances B. Rankin of Lancaster; his brothers-in-law, Wayne L. (Cindy Rankin) of Pequea and Jeffrey A. Rankin; and his close friend Beth Long of Lancaster. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
