She is survived by: her children, James L. Hess of Lancaster, Jere L. Hess of Lititz, Diane E. Adams of Lancaster and Brenda L. (Thomas L. Weaver) of Ephrata; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Bryce; and her sister Ruth (Ben Stoltzfus) of Lancaster.
