He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stevens and Eva Stevens (Griffith); his wife LaVerne (Volk); his brother Dale Stevens; and his son-in-law Thomas Frederick.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Frederick Combis (Paul); his grandsons, William "Bill" Frederick (Tara) of Chesapeake, VA and Bryan Frederick (Krystyne) of Brunswick, ME; his great grandchildren, Ryan Frederick (Naome) and Bradley Frederick of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister Betty Altimus of Westlake, OH; and his half-siblings, Joanne Grata (David) and Gary Stevens (Paulette).
