It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Preuss (Conemaugh, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Biss and Anna Biss; her son Michael; and her siblings, William, Michael, Frank and Theodosia Biss.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Preuss Sr.; her children, Mary Ann Hinterliter and James F. Jr. Preuss (Theresa A.); her daughter-in-law Ruth Preuss; her grandchildren, Nickie Mitchell, Brad Hinterliter, Michael, Christopher, Jason, James M. Preuss, Missa Lucio and Jessica Plummer; her sister-in-law Anna Biss; and her close friend Tessa Croft-Hinterliter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family suggests contributions be directed to Conemaugh Fire Company, Ladies Guild, 343 First Street, Conemaugh PA 15909 in memory of Theresa.
