She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Reed and Elizabeth Reed (Dickert); her children, Sandra J. Pudliner and George D.; her siblings, William H. and Janice C. Neidig (Ruth E. Laco); and her siblings-in-law, Rudy Galadya, William Rzeszut, James Gartrell, Joseph Laco, Charles Siplivy, George Hurtack, Edward Rzeszut, Elizabeth Galadya, Madeline Siplivy, Erna Kaminsky and Joan Rzeszut.
She is survived by: her husband George R. Gartrell; her grandsons, Ryan S. Gartrell (Shelby), John E. III and Wesley A. Pudliner of Pittsburgh; her great grandchildren, Reed, Logan and Lilly Gartrell; her son-in-law John E. Pudliner Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Hurtack, Mundys Corner, Diana Rzeszut, Evelyn Rzeszut of East Lake, OH, Delores Gartrell, Charles Rzeszut, Victor Gartrell (Kathryn) and Paul Kaminsky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel (229-231 1st St, Conemaugh, PA 15909). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests contributions be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church, 613 Locust Street, Johnstown, PA 15901 in memory of Shirley.
